Our Favorite “Sick Time” Remedies

Everyone falls ill at some point.  It can be the drabs for sure, but it can definitely be better with natural and effective remedies that help support the immune system and become well sooner.

And we are not just talking about your standard echinacea and golden seal that you hear about all of the time (although those are excellent herbs).  Many times, our bodies require a “harmonic” effect of herbs.  We just wanted to be sure to share with you what we have found to have the most success in clinical practice.  Many patients have described excellent results with the following products:

Ilex Formula

  • Ilex Formula is our family favorite!  We ramp up on it anytime we are around someone who is ill or one of our family members becomes ill.  The main ingredient is Ilex (holly) and serves as an effective immune supporter.  It helps build the immune system and open / detoxify the lymphatic channels.  No side-effects.

Flu Immune

  • Flu Immune is a homeopathic NET Remedy.  It helps one overcome any cold or flu virus.  We use it anytime that we are ill.  It is great for children as you can spray it and walk under the mist.  No side-effects.

Sino Formula

  • Sino Formula acts to support the respiratory system and help build the immune system. This formula is helpful for sinus support as well.

Homeopathic Cough Syrup

  • This cough syrup is miraculous and reducing coughs and has an excellent taste (not an artificial taste like most commercial cough syrups).  Our boys would probably treat this like a dessert if we let them.

Children’s Xanthium Formula

  • Xanthium is a Chinese herb that is effective at clearing out the Eustacian (or pharyngotympanic) tube.  It rids ear infections very quickly – in adults or children.

Total Flu-Cld Nasal Spray

  • An excellent homeopathic that can easily be administered into the mucous membranes of the nose.  Useful for a broad spectrum of flu-like symptoms including: fever, chills, night sweats, nausea, vomiting, headache, runny nose, congestion, sore throat, cough, bronchitis, diarrhea, and tired /achy feeling.
